The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Amritsar, the 15th IIM established under the aegis of the Ministry of Education (formerly the Ministry of Human Resource Development), was founded with the support of the Government of Punjab. Following the registration of the IIM Amritsar Society on July 27, 2015, the inaugural MBA batch (2015-17) commenced in August 2015. Subsequently, on October 14, 2015, the IIM Amritsar Board of Governance & Society was constituted, marking a significant milestone in the institute's journey.

Executive MBA Programs Outlook
Academic Criteria
Graduates (10+2+3) or Diploma Holders (only 10+2+3) from a recognized university (UGC/AICTE/DEC/AIU/State Government/recognized international universities) in any discipline.
By the programme commencement date, candidates should have more than 2 years of work experience.

Certificate
The Executive MBA program provides a multidisciplinary view of business management. The program is offered in hybrid mode, with three on-campus visits per year intertwined with live virtual classes. Executive MBA classes are delivered online via video conferencing using an interactive learning management system. The program is offered over weekends with classes on Saturdays, and Sundays.
An Executive MBA degree will be issued to the participant who will fulfil all criteria (Attendance & Evaluation) related to the completion of the course.
Successful participants will also be accorded IIM Amritsar Alumni status.
